Instructions Page
The instructions for the instruction page were to doodle over them, but I liked this page. I don’t know why, but I felt it should stay… so I used a bit of imagination and came up with the rainbow idea. Okay, I didn’t use that much imagination since it’s quite a trend in this book, for me to do this. But yeah, I like how it turned out.

Page 100Doodle Over Top Of…
This page was the reason for drawing on all those other pages. I just took my doodles, for the most part, to the extreme. I’ll upload the Instructions page photo later. I’m not completely finished with that page yet, just a few more edits to do. Nothing special to say about this one. I just like to use the water color paints on these pages (as you’ll come to see in later photos) so I did a circle rainbow thing to mix it up a bit! Yay, painting.

Lights, Camera, Action! I don’t really like this page. It’s drawn with crayon and my little cousin who is about 5 could’ve drawn this and maybe done better. It was done on little sleep though, and I can’t take it back now - sadly you can’t erase crayon. I glued some film in at the top though, so I do like that. And the colors, I like the colors. Very Blink-182.

This is my Alice In Wonderland Page. The warning box up top has “Feed Your Head” written over and over in various colors and fonts and sizes. The cloud type thing I drew below that says: Alice fell down a hole… she then entered this world called Wonderland. There’s mushrooms, Alice is upside down, the caterpillar’s smoking a hookah, and the pocket watch has numbers completely filling it. Tried to make the colors kind of trippy, you know, very Alice In Wonderland-y.

The Title Page
So the instructions were to doodle on the title page, but I took my doodles a bit more… artistic. Obviously this is the album art from Blink-182’s self titled album, and let me tell you, it was not the easiest thing to recreate with watercolor paints of all the things I could’ve used. I like it though! And the bottom is just notebook paper with the beginning of the poem that’s read at the end of “Violence” and I burnt it a bit, so most of the poem didn’t make the cut. The whole thing (would be) is:
“My Dearest, I’ve missed you very very much since that last night we were together, and will hold that night especially in my memories for years to come. I’ve been turning it over and over in my mind lately. I’ve read you’re letter through at least 4 times, and will probably read it more times before I’m through. I’ve been sitting here looking at you’re picture and getting more home sick every minute. I’ve wanted that picture more than anything else I know of, except, of course, you yourself. I keep thinking of you Darling; I keep wishing I could be home with you. I want to leave in the worst possible way so I could come home to see you. But things don’t look to good on that subject. This war has spoiled a lot of things for everyone I guess. I’ve never been so lonesome in my life as I am right now. I’m completely lost without you Darling; I never realized I could miss anyone person so much. I just hope it won’t be too much longer till I’m able to be with you again, and live a sane and normal life.”

Originally I was going to do this by uploading it from page 1 and moving on, but instead I think I’ll do random order since I don’t have the first few pages completely finished yet.

Most people know this book, Wreck This Journal, by Keri Smith. It’s a fun activity and yeah, you know, it’s pretty cool. This is an old photo, I took it about a year ago back when I first got this “journal,” but now that I’ve actually been using it and doing things in the journal, I’m going to document it on this blog. I’d retake a photo of the cover to “start it off,” but the cover is currently a mess and so this is it as clean as it’ll ever be again!
So as you can tell by the watermark on this photo, I am JennyHero and this is my wrecked journal. Let the documentation begin.
