Blank Page - Blackjack 

This was just one of the blank pages, and I had this deck of miniature cards from Christmas a few years ago (my aunt gets really great poppers!) so I figured I’d use them somehow in this. Unfortunately (and I didn’t think about it until later), it’s not on page 21, but that page actually has instructions on it.. but I figured out of all the other pages to use 12 would be the best one! I don’t know, I really like this one. And I enjoy the selective focus on it. Pretty neat.

Place Shopping Lists Here

Food shopping every week with my mom is what I look forward to on Sunday’s. We always get Starbucks first, then at Wegmans we get breakfast sandwiches and we eat before going food shopping. I think that’s why I don’t mind food shopping, I associate it with my mom.

Also, it’s Christmas Eve here - so Happy Holidays to you all! :)

Draw Thin Lines & Fat Lines

So I might’ve broken the rules a bit on this one! It was supposed to be with pencil, but I had done some really bad ones in pencil (it says pressing hard and soft, and the hard pencil lines were hard to get off… haha), so I went over it in sharpie. It was fun, I just divided it up into sections as I went along.

Chew On This

If anyone knows where this little dude that I drew on the page saying “Nomnomnom” over and over again is from, kudos! If not, it’s okay, he’s kinda adorable anyway. The paper didn’t taste that bad, but it was kinda difficult to draw that little guy since I decided to do it after I had already chewed on the page. Oops!

Fill This Page With Circles

This page was a lot of fun, and it took about an hour and a half. It was tedious work to spell out my name, JennyHero, in little circles, color them in and then do the circle border around it. It was quite a task, but I love how it turned out.

Crack The Spine

I drew Wreck This Journal inside of Wreck This Journal. Book-ception? Maybe just a little. Totally lame drawing (and even more lame of a picture, hopefully they’ll get better, I’ve been trying to think of creative ways to take the pictures… but there’s only so many ways to photograph book pages haha). And even though you can’t see it well, yes, the spine is definitely cracked! 

Materials Page

There’s a whole list of materials listed at the very beginning of Wreck This Journal, but I think that your imagination is your best material to use when creating/destroying it (haha, I’m so lame, I know). So that’s the easiest way to explain this page.

Add Your On Page Numbers 

Bad photo, I know, haha. This is the first number page, which I did in crayon. Pretty simple, various numbers written and kinda colorful. I don’t know, it looks better not in picture form! I could’ve done something better with it.

Tear Strips 

There’s really not much I can say about this page. It was to tear strips up, so I kind of just tore the strips up and then colored them in (which I should’ve done in reverse because it was a bitch to do!) Yeah.
